Bill Andrakakos, CFA, FRM

President & Chief Investment Officer

Bill Andrakakos serves as President & Chief Investment Officer for Aaron Wealth Advisors. In his role as President, Bill works in tandem with the CEO and senior leadership team to marshal the integral resources necessary for meeting the firm’s strategic objectives, enhancing its capabilities, and providing clients the highest level of service. As CIO, Bill is primarily responsible for overseeing the firm’s investment enterprise and delivering best-in-class solutions to clients. Bill is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder as well as a Certified Financial Risk Manager® (FRM). He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from Saint Louis University along with a Certificate in Business Management.

He began his career as a portfolio analyst for an independent advisory firm in the Washington, D.C. area, primarily serving high-net-worth individuals, executive compensation plans, and employee retirement plans. Bill then relocated to Chicago and joined Deutsche Bank, where he was a senior member of the Investment Strategy Group covering Equities and Real Assets. Prior to joining Aaron Wealth, he helped build the Product Management & Strategy Group at Northern Trust Asset Management.

A loving father of two beautiful children and a devoted husband, Bill lives on the northside of Chicago with his family. He and his wife are avid readers, cooks, athletes, and travelers in their free time. In 2012, Bill was honored with an induction into the Saint Louis University Rugby Club Hall of Fame. And, although he has retired from playing the sport, he remains committed to continuing the charitable missions he established during his college tenure, which include research for rare pediatric brain cancers, providing enriching experiences and support for children living with these diseases, and advocating for equal and broader access to a high-quality education for all families. As areas of significant personal importance, Bill is actively dedicated to finding opportunities which can contribute to the advancement of these great causes.
